Notice to Vacate Requirements
If you plan to move out at the end of your lease term, written notice is required at least 60 days in advance, effective from the first day of the month. Submission of the Notice to Vacate form serves as your official notice.
Please note that if there is more than one tenant listed on the lease, notice submitted by one tenant is considered notice for all tenants on the lease. If any leaseholders intend to remain in the home, this must be communicated to our office in advance.
Important Information to Remember
Early Termination of Lease
If you vacate the property prior to the end of your lease term, you may be responsible for unpaid rent through the lease end date or until a new tenant takes possession of the premises, whichever occurs first. The security deposit will be held until the lease has officially ended.
Return of Keys
All keys, garage openers, and access devices must be returned to our office no later than 9:00 AM on the lease termination date.
Condition of the Property
The premises must be left clean and in good condition, excluding normal wear and tear. Please review the Move-Out Instructions carefully to avoid unnecessary charges.
Utilities
All utility accounts must remain active through the final day of the lease and should be closed in your name on that date. Our office does not manage utility disconnections on behalf of tenants.
Mail Forwarding
Residents are responsible for submitting a change of address with the post office. We are unable to forward mail.
Automatic Rent Payments
Please ensure that any automatic or recurring rent payments are canceled prior to move-out. Our office cannot modify or stop these payments.
Marketing and Showings
Once notice has been provided, the property may be marketed for re-rental. With at least 24 hours’ notice, authorized agents may show the home to prospective tenants in accordance with the lease and applicable laws.
